The reward of fasting on Monday and Thursday in the light of authentic hadiths

The Reward of Fasting on Monday and Thursday​

عن أبي قتادة ، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سئل عن صوم يوم الاثنين؟ فقال: ذلك يوم ولدت فيه، ويوم بعثت - أو أنزل على - فيه .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was asked about fasting on Monday, and he (peace be upon him) said: "This is the day on which I was born, and on this day I was sent as a Messenger, or on this day the revelation was sent down to me."

عن أبي هريرة عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: تعرض الأعمال يوم الاثنين والخميس، فأحب أن يعرض عملي وأنا صائم .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "On Mondays and Thursdays, deeds are presented (to Allah), so I like that my deeds be presented while I am fasting."

Al-Albani (may Allah have mercy on him) declared it authentic.
عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت: كان النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم يتحرى صوم الاثنين والخميس .
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) stated: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to be particularly keen on fasting on Mondays and Thursdays."

Al-Albani (may Allah have mercy on him) declared it "authentic."
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
عهد إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ثلاثة: أن لا أنام إلا على وتر، وصوم ثلاثة أيام من كل شهر، وأن أصلي الضحى .
"The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) took three promises from me: not to sleep without praying Witr, to fast three days every month, and to pray the Duha prayer."
