The Reality of the Friends of Satan and His Strength

Are there any friends of Satan? What is the reality of Satan's strength?
Answer:

Allah Almighty says:

❝ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ الطَّاغُوتِ فَقَاتِلُوا أَوْلِيَاءَ الشَّيْطَانِ ۖ إِنَّ كَيْدَ الشَّيْطَانِ كَانَ ضَعِيفًا ❞
[Surah An-Nisa: 76]

"Those who have believed fight in the cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve fight in the cause of false deities. So fight against the allies of Satan. Indeed, the plot of Satan has ever been weak."

This means that the believing servants fight in obedience to Allah and for His pleasure, whereas the disbelievers fight in obedience to Satan. Then, Allah Almighty encourages the believers to fight against their enemies by saying:

❝ فَقَاتِلُوا أَوْلِيَاءَ الشَّيْطَانِ ۖ إِنَّ كَيْدَ الشَّيْطَانِ كَانَ ضَعِيفًا ❞

"So fight against the allies of Satan. Indeed, the plot of Satan has ever been weak."

From this, it becomes clear that the disbelievers are the friends of Satan and that Satan’s strength is weak.
