“If the present Muslim sects (such as Deobandi, Barelvi, Salafi, etc.) and organizational groups are all representatives of the same religious path, then why do they constantly engage in disagreements and disputes among themselves?”

The fundamental answer is:
“Currently, there is no strong Islamic Caliphate (i.e., a state that sincerely carries out the political succession of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ).”

❖ Consequences of the Absence of Khilafah​

➊ When a structured state system does not exist, both individuals and society fall into chaos and fragmentation.
➋ The Caliph is referred to as Zillullah (the shadow of Allah on earth) in this context because he organizes all religious affairs and keeps forces of division in check.

❖ A Comparison with Secular States​

If today's secular capitalist states were to withdraw their support and regulation over their liberal social and economic systems (such as civil society and markets), those systems would collapse within weeks.

For example, if these states stopped regulating the conduct of doctors, lawyers, educators, banks, and corporations, we would quickly see these sectors not only exploiting the public but also falling into internal corruption and mutual hostility.

(Even under heavy regulation, we continue to witness such scenes regularly.)

When a strong Islamic Caliphate is established, these small sects and groups will naturally become organized and align in the right direction. The existence of a unified political and religious authority helps consolidate diverse schools of thought and resolve disputes through established processes.
