❖ When Should the Follower Say “Ameen”?
According to the authentic teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the follower should say “Ameen” together with the Imam, immediately after the completion of Surah Al-Fatiha.❖ Evidence from Hadith
✔ In Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, the Prophet ﷺ said:“When the Imam says Ameen, then say Ameen.”
✔ Another narration mentions:
“When the Imam says ‘Wa lāḍ-ḍāl-līn’, say Ameen.”
These narrations clearly indicate that the Ameen of the follower should synchronize with that of the Imam.
