Is the piece of land in which the sacred body of the Prophet ﷺ is buried the most virtuous piece of land on earth?
The scholars have transmitted ijmā‘ (consensus) that the part of land containing the grave of the Prophet ﷺ is the most virtuous piece of land on earth.
❀ Qadi ‘Iyad رحمه الله (d. 544H) said:
اجتمعوا على أن موضع قبره عليه السلام أفضل بقاع الأرض
“They (the scholars) are unanimous that the place of his ﷺ grave is the most virtuous spot of land.”

In our era, some people go further, claiming that the Prophet’s ﷺ grave is more virtuous even than the ‘Arsh (Throne of Allah) and the Kursi (Divine Footstool). According to the scholars, the better stance regarding this is to withhold (tawqūf) from such claims and affirm only what has been established through consensus — that the Prophet’s ﷺ grave is the most virtuous part of the earth.
