When Waking Up During the Night
It is narrated from Abu Salamah (رحمہ اللہ) that Sayyiduna Rabi‘ah ibn Ka‘b al-Aslami (رضی اللہ عنہ) informed him that he used to spend the night close to the door of the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم). During the night, he heard the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) say:

((سُبْحَانَ اللهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِينَ))

“Glory be to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds.”
Then he would say:

((سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ))
“Glory be to Allah along with His praise.”
