The Islamic Ruling on Providing Clients to an Interest-Based Bank for Commission

Author: Dr. Muhammad Zia-ur-Rahman Azmi (رحمه الله)

Providing Clients to an Interest-Based Bank for Commission

Providing clients to an interest-based bank for commission, where they deposit their cash at a fixed interest rate, is clearly forbidden. Additionally, all tasks associated with this work—such as recording their accounts, entering them into registers, counting the money, or handling it—are also prohibited because these actions involve cooperation in sin and transgression.
