The Greatness and Services of the Companions of the Messenger Radi Allahu Anhum
The Companions of the Messenger صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم are that pure group in this universe, unparalleled in the world. No one else can be as loyal to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم as they were, nor can anyone even imagine the extent of their loyalty, which reached far beyond.
Their immortal role in spreading the call of the Noble Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم throughout the world is scattered across the pages of history. From Arab lands to non-Arab lands, sometimes in the meadows of Europe and sometimes on the mountains beyond the Oxus River, sometimes on the shores of Sindh and sometimes in the deserts of Egypt, their unparalleled struggle and achievements are evident.
Some gathered the hadith of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم and spent their precious lives spreading that methodology. The Companions رضی اللہ عنہم are also proof of the greatness of the Noble Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم. Some took up the banner of jihad and overthrew the thrones of Caesar and Khosrow to plant the flag of monotheism, while others attained the rank of leadership in tafsir (Quranic exegesis). Allah entrusted some with the task of compiling the Quran and placed others before trials and tribulations. These are their sacrifices in their respective fields, and it is these very things that irritate the enemies of Islam. Reflect on this: the enemies of Islam will always criticize those Companions who accomplished great deeds in significant fields of Islam.
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Umar رضی اللہ عنہما, the first caliphs of Islam and benefactors of Islam, are verbally abused day and night by these people.
Khalid bin Walid رضی اللہ عنہ was called the Sword of Allah by the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, yet these people scowl at his achievements. Umm Ayesha رضی اللہ عنہا, the mother of the Ummah and the beloved of the Noble Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم, are called Nasibiyyah (enemies of Ahl al-Bayt) by the Rawafid, may Allah protect us.
The reign of Sayyiduna Amir Muawiyah رضی اللہ عنہ was peaceful in every respect, and Islamic conquests took place, yet these people call him a hypocrite, may Allah protect us. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم trusted Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan رضی اللہ عنہ so much that he married his two daughters to him, yet these people do not trust the era of Sayyiduna Uthman رضی اللہ عنہ.
