The Virtue of Clothing a Needy Person​

❖ Ḥadīth of ʿUmar (RA)​


ʿUmar (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:


أفضل الأعمال إدخال السرور على المؤمن، كسوت عورته ، أو أشبعت جوعته ، أو قضيت له حاجته


“The best of deeds is to bring joy to a believer: to cover his nakedness (by giving him clothing), or to satisfy his hunger, or to fulfill his need.”
