《Chapter: The Virtue of Suppressing Anger》
◈ The Excellence of Swallowing Anger ◈
﴾ وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴿
[Surah Āl ʿImrān: 134]
"And those who suppress their anger and forgive the people—indeed, Allah loves the doers of good."
Narrated by Muʿādh ibn Anas al-Juhanī (رضي الله عنه):
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Whoever suppresses his anger while having the ability to act upon it, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will call him before all of creation on the Day of Judgment, and will give him the choice to select whichever of the Ḥūr al-ʿĪn he desires.”

❖ Qur’anic Evidence:

❖ Hadith on the Virtue of Restraining Anger:
Narrated by Muʿādh ibn Anas al-Juhanī (رضي الله عنه):
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
