Do the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah have any impact on Shaytan?
Answer:
Yes, indeed!
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Nuʿman bin Bashir رضی اللہ عنہ that he reported from the Noble Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم:
『إن الله كتب كتابا قبل أن يخلق السماوات والأرض بألفي عام، أنزل منه آيتين ختم بهما سورة البقرة، ولا يقرأان فى دار ثلاث ليال فيفر منها شيطان』
“Indeed, Allah wrote a Book two thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth. From this Book, Allah sent down two verses with which He concluded Surah Al-Baqarah. No house in which they are recited for three nights will have Shaytan enter it.”

Shaykh al-Albani رحمہ اللہ has declared it authentic in “Sahih at-Targhib,” Hadith no. 1467.
