It is narrated from Abu Al-Yasar (رضي الله عنه) that he said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say:
اللهم إني أعوذ بك أن يتخبطني الشيطان عند الموت
"O Allah! I seek refuge in You from Satan causing me to lose my senses at the time of death."
[Sunan Abu Dawood, Hadith No. 1552 | Sunan An-Nasa'i, Hadith No. 5531]
This Hadith indicates that the Prophet (ﷺ) sought Allah’s protection from the influence of Satan during the moment of death, implying that Satan may try to mislead or trouble a person at such a critical time.
