A certain Mawlānā has claimed that the present moon is on the lowest heaven, but similar moons exist on the other heavens as well. He asserts that every heaven has its own moon and further says that he can prove this from the Qur’an and Ḥadīth. How valid is this claim?
الحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام علىٰ رسول الله، أما بعد!
This claim is absolutely false. The one who makes such a statement is obliged to prove it through the Qur’an and authentic ḥadīth with a connected chain. Otherwise, he must retract from this baseless assertion.
