This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Ghulam Mustafa Zaheer Amanpuri's book "Where is Allah?"
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas رضي الله عنهما narrates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"On the night I was taken for the Mi'raj (Ascension), I passed by a pure fragrance. I said: Jibril! What is this fragrance? He said: This is the fragrance of the woman who used to comb Pharaoh's daughter's hair (and her son). She was combing her hair when the comb fell from her hand. She said: Bismillah (In the name of Allah). Pharaoh's daughter said: Do you mean my father by Allah? She replied: No, but the Lord of me and your father. She said: Then I will tell my father. She said: Tell him. Pharaoh was told, so he said: Do you have a Lord other than me? She replied: My Lord and your Lord is the One who is in the heavens."
Imam Ibn Hibban (2904) and Imam Hakim (2/496) have declared this hadith to be "Sahih". Hafiz al-Dhahabi رحمه الله agreed with them.
"There is nothing wrong with its chain of narration."
