The Atheist’s Slogan: “So Many Sects — Which Islam to Follow?”

✍ Written by: Faizullah Khan

❖ Which Islam? Whose Islam?

"Are you talking about the Islam followed in Mansoorah? Or that of the Hanafis, Salafis, Sufis, or Ghamidis?"
Such are the questions often posed — as though Islam has splintered into mutually exclusive versions.

But the truth is: Islam is one, the same Islam that emerged from the valley of Faran and spread across the world.

❖ Shifting the Conversation

"Anyway, forget that. I need to get my child admitted into a school. Know any good schools that don’t just display cartoons on walls, but actually teach humanity?"

"Hey, what are you even talking about? I’m asking about Islam, and you’ve jumped to school admissions?"

❖ First the School, Then Islam

"Fine, tell me about a school first, then we’ll talk about Islam."

"Alright, here goes: There’s Habib Public School, St. Patrick’s, Nasra School, Beaconhouse, The City School. Whether you want A-levels or O-levels, you’ll find an option."

❖ Hosting Guests – Another Detour

"Also, some guests are coming — where should I take them for dinner?"

"Dude! Answer my question first. Why are you shifting topics like a cleric talking about food instead of faith?"

❖ The Menu: You Asked for It!

"Okay, even if you’re not a good friend, at least recommend a place for goat meat?"

"Sure:
◈ For traditional desi food, go to Burns Road — you’ll find everything from Pakistani to Indian cuisine.
◈ For Chinese, Chinatown near Bilawal House is great.
◈ If you like savory dishes, Shinwari is unmatched.
◈ Want to show some style? Head to BBQ Tonight or Arizona Grill.
◈ For fast food and burgers, KFC, Hardee’s, Subway, or Pizza Hut are all options."

❖ Where to Buy Good Clothes?

"Alright, one more thing — where do you get nice clothes?"

"You’ve worked my brain enough today, but fine, listen:

◄ For basic clothes, go to Bolton Market.
◄ For quality attire, check out outlets of Gul Ahmed, Alkaram, Junaid Jamshed, Levi’s, or Channel 5.
◄ For affordable yet unique outfits, Zainab Market is ideal."

❖ Back to Islam Again

"Man, you seem to know everything — except what Islam truly is."

"So tell me, why the sarcasm? You're talking like you're mocking."

❖ Identifying the Real Islam

Here’s a simple formula: Look at who’s being attacked the most.

◈ Who is facing the most arrows from the enemies?
◈ Who is being criticized by his own people?
◈ Who is being targeted by both friends and foes alike?

Wherever the arrows are densest, the truth lies closer. Where they are fewer, the stand for truth is weaker.
And where there are no arrows at all, that group is of no threat to falsehood.

We do not question anyone’s faith, but as for who stands closest to the truth — this is the easiest measure.

❖ Find the Answer Yourself

Just as you know where to get good food, clothes, or education — you cannot claim ignorance about where to find true Islam.

The answers to all your questions are hidden within your own responses to my questions.

Now it’s up to you — accept the truth, or keep making excuses.

No compulsion here, but my friend… think about it.
Don’t walk away empty — carry this reflection with you.
