Sunnah Supplications After Concluding Salah

❀ Hadith Reference

Narrated by Al-Mughira ibn Shu'bah: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished the prayer and pronounced salutation, he would say:

This narration is agreed upon and recorded in Sahih Muslim (Hadith 593).

❀ Merits and Insights

Affirmation of Tawheed and Divine Sovereignty
The supplication begins with the declaration of the oneness of Allah, acknowledging His exclusive right to sovereignty and praise.

Recognition of Allah's Absolute Will
The phrases highlight that none can withhold what Allah grants, and none can grant what Allah withholds, emphasizing His supreme authority over all matters.

Acknowledgment of Human Limitations
The supplication concludes by stating that the wealth or status of a person cannot benefit them against Allah's will, underscoring human dependence on divine mercy.

Encouragement of Post-Prayer Remembrance
This hadith illustrates the Prophet's ﷺ practice of engaging in specific supplications after Salah, serving as a model for Muslims to incorporate these remembrances into their own worship.
