✿ Supplication to Be Recited While Lowering the Deceased into the Grave

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn ‘Umar (رضي الله عنهما) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“When you lower your dead into the grave, say:
بِسْمِ اللهِ وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ
(In the name of Allah and upon the creed of the Messenger of Allah).”
In another narration, the wording is:
وَعَلَى سُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ
"...and upon the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah."

❖ Sunnah Du‘ā When Placing the Deceased in the Grave
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn ‘Umar (رضي الله عنهما) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
