❖ Additional Hadith ❖

The following narration appears in Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī, Musnad Aḥmad, and others:

Arabic Text:

«مَا خَلَا رَجُلٌ بِامْرَأَةٍ إِلَّا كَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ ثَالِثَهُمَا»

Translation:

“Whenever a man is alone with a (non-maḥram) woman, Shayṭān is the third among them (inciting them towards evil).”

◈ Key Points:

Islam strictly forbids unlawful seclusion (khalwah) between a man and a woman who are not maḥram.
Such seclusion paves the way for temptation and leads to sinful inclinations, as Shayṭān becomes the third.
Parents bear the responsibility of warning and preventing their daughters from situations of khalwah.
These rulings are preventative measures to preserve chastity and morality in society.
