Status of Yahya ibn ʿAlaʾ al-Bajali According to Hadith Scholars

What is the status of the narrator Yahya ibn ʿAlaʾ al-Bajali in hadith?

الحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام علىٰ رسول الله، أما بعد!
Abu Salamah Yahya ibn ʿAlaʾ al-Bajali al-Razi is regarded as matruk (abandoned) and a liar by the scholars of hadith.
◈ Scholarly Verdict
- Hafiz Ibn Kathir (774 AH) رحمه الله stated:
"Yahya ibn ʿAlaʾ and his teacher Bishr ibn Namir al-Qushayri are unanimously considered matruk (abandoned)."

◈ Conclusion
- Yahya ibn ʿAlaʾ al-Bajali is unreliable.
- Hadith scholars unanimously declared him abandoned and a fabricator.
- His narrations cannot be used as evidence in Islam.
