Spiritual Cure for Affliction of Jinn in Light of Qur’an and Hadith

❖ Question
Respected Ḥāfiẓ Sahib! Please advise us. We have a young sister who is afflicted by jinn. We have taken her to many places for ruqyah (recitation), but no lasting relief has come. Also, we do not wish to go to fraudulent people who only engage in trickery.

❖ Answer
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ʿAmma Baʿd!
We pray to Allah ﷻ to grant your sister complete and immediate healing:
"اَللّٰہُمَّ اِشْفِہَا شِفَائً کَامِلاً عَاجِلاً لاَ یُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا"
(O Allah! Grant her complete, immediate healing after which no illness remains.)
✿ Duʿā for Protection
Teach her, and also recite yourself, the following duʿā frequently:
"اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنَّا نَجْعَلُکَ فِیْ نُحُوْرِہِمْ وَنَعُوْذُ بِکَ مِنْ شُرُوْرِہِمْ"
(O Allah! We place You before them, and we seek refuge in You from their evils.)
(Abū Dāwūd, Kitāb al-Ṣalāh, Bāb: Mā yaqūlu idhā khāfa qawman)
✿ Advice to Jinn if They Speak
If the jinn converse, convey this message to them:
"Please leave. It is not good to harm others. Ultimately, we all must stand before Allah ﷻ."
