Should the four sunnahs of Ẓuhr or ʿAṣr be prayed in the same way as the first four sunnahs of Ẓuhr, i.e., in one set of four rakʿahs with a single salām, or should they be prayed two by two? What is the Sunnah method in detail?
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ʿammā baʿd!
◈ If someone performs them two by two, this is valid.
◈ If someone performs them as four rakʿahs with one salām, this is also valid.
In other words, both methods are permissible and correct, and one may adopt either of them.
