Are the words in the Shia Adhan — ’’أشهد أن عليا ولي الله وصي رسول الله خليفة بلا فصل‘‘ — established in the four fundamental books of Shia?
Answer:
No. These words are not found in any fundamental book of the Shia. They are an innovation introduced later.
