Can madrasa students play carrom board, especially when space is limited in the madrasa?

is impermissible and haram to play.
Students should engage in activities:

General Principle
For madrasa students or anyone else:
- Any game that involves wasting time, or
- Gambling, or
- Anything prohibited by Shari‘ah,
is impermissible and haram to play.
Carrom Board Specifically
- Certain games do not suit dignified and serious-minded individuals — carrom board is among them.
- Therefore, madrasa students should avoid such doubtful games.
Better Alternatives
Students should engage in activities:
- That provide physical exercise, and
- Do not negatively impact their studies.
