Shari‘ah Ruling on the Exchange of Vehicles

It is permissible to exchange:
✔ One specified vehicle for another,
✔ Regardless of whether they are of the same type or different types,
✔ And whether their value is equal or unequal.
This is allowed because vehicles do not fall under the category of usurious items (asnāf ribawiyyah) — such as gold, silver, or food staples.
Hence, their exchange with price difference or variation in type is valid in Shari‘ah.
