When the first row is full, should the latecomer stand alone in the second row, or should he pull someone from the first row to stand with him?
الحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام علىٰ رسول الله، أما بعد!
If the first row has been completed, then the latecomer has two permissible options:
◈ He may stand alone in the second row.
◈ He may pull someone back from the first row to join him.
However, if he stands alone, the prayer will be considered valid,
but it will need to be repeated for proper completion.
