❖ Sharʿi Ruling on Performing Eid Prayer in Absence of an Eidgāh

If an Eidgāh is not available, is it appropriate to offer the Eid prayer on a road or a plot of approximately 60–70 yards?

Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ammā baʿd!
◈ If there is no designated Eidgāh, it is permissible to offer the Eid prayer in an open area, whether it be near a road or in an open plot of land.
هٰذَا مَا عِندِي، وَاللّٰهُ أَعْلَمُ بِالصَّوَابِ
