Separate Khateeb for Jumu'ah Khutbah and Imam for Jumu'ah Salah

Question:​

If someone other than the person delivering the Jumu'ah khutbah leads the Jumu'ah prayer, will the prayer be valid?

Answer:​

The established practice of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and the Khulafa-e-Rashideen (رضی اللہ عنہم) was that the same person would deliver the khutbah and lead the Jumu'ah prayer. However, if, on any occasion, one person delivers the khutbah and another leads the congregational prayer, the prayer will still be valid. There is no evidence to suggest that such a practice would invalidate the Salah.
