Islamic Ruling on Selling Property to One’s Own Children

It is permissible for a person to sell something from his wealth to one of his children, provided that:
① The child is capable of purchasing the item.
② The father treats the child as he would a regular, unrelated buyer, adhering to normal transactional standards.
③ There is no partiality or favoritism involved in the transaction—i.e., the sale must not indicate any preference over the other siblings.
Such impartiality ensures justice among children and prevents familial disputes.
