Selling Clothes to Non-Muslim Men and Women

Ruling on Selling Clothes to Non-Muslims

It is permissible for a Muslim to sell clothes to non-Muslim men and women, provided the following conditions are met:
  1. The clothing must cover the body appropriately (i.e., it should not be revealing or indecent).
  2. The clothing should not bear symbols of disbelief or shirk, such as crosses or other similar emblems.
  3. Silk clothing should not be sold to men, as it is prohibited for men in Islam.
In general, the principle in trade is permissibility unless there is evidence prohibiting a specific transaction. This applies whether the sale is to Muslims or non-Muslims.
