Scientific Objections to Miracles and Their Logical Answers

⚡ Allah’s Power and Scientific Objections to Miracles – Logical Responses ⚡

Written by: Muhammad Saleem

In contemporary times, certain atheists challenge the miracles of the Prophets using the lens of scientific principles.
This article addresses such objections and provides logical and straightforward responses to clarify misconceptions.

Objection ①: By Which Scientific Principle Was Prophet Ādam (عليه السلام) Created from Clay?

The Objection:

Atheists question: By what scientific law was Prophet Ādam (عليه السلام) brought to life by blowing into a clay figure?

The Response:

Simple Answer: The creation of Prophet Ādam (عليه السلام) did not occur under any scientific law.
Allah ﷻ does not require scientific principles or physical laws to create anything. He creates by His command "كن فيكون" — “Be, and it is.”

If the objectors themselves believe in science and the theory of evolution, they should acknowledge that science has yet to explain the origin of the first life form.

🔹 The question remains: Who gave “life” to the first unicellular organism that arose from lifeless chemicals?
Even proponents of evolution admit that the evolutionary process begins after the appearance of this organism.

Conclusion:

By the same principle — or rather, the same unknown mechanism — through which life first emerged from inanimate chemicals, Prophet Ādam (عليه السلام) was given life.
Thus, the objection collapses under the weight of scientific uncertainty itself.

Objection ②: By Which Scientific Principle Was Ḥawwā (عليها السلام) Created from the Rib of Ādam (عليه السلام)?

The Objection:

Critics deem the creation of Ḥawwā (عليها السلام) from Ādam’s rib to be unscientific.

The Response:

As explained above: Ḥawwā (عليها السلام) was also created by the command "كن فيكون."
The same Divine Will that created Prophet Ādam (عليه السلام) brought Ḥawwā (عليها السلام) into existence.

Moreover, Allah ﷻ created every living being in pairs, as clearly stated in the Qur'an.

✦ Objection ③: How Was Prophet ʿĪsā (عليه السلام) Born Without a Y Chromosome?

The Objection:

Atheists argue that women possess XX chromosomes, while men have XY. Since Maryam (عليها السلام) had no Y chromosome, how could ʿĪsā (عليه السلام), who would require a Y chromosome, be born?

The Response:

Explanation Based on Evolutionary Theory:

According to evolution, early life began with unicellular organisms that reproduced via simple division. These organisms had no concept of sexual reproduction or chromosomes like X or Y.

As organisms evolved into plants and then aquatic life, sexual reproduction and gender differentiation emerged.
The first male organism, formed through this process, did not possess a Y chromosome, because its "ancestors" were plants using asexual reproduction.

Logical Conclusion:

If, according to the theory of evolution, a male organism can exist without a Y chromosome, then the miraculous birth of ʿĪsā (عليه السلام) through Maryam (عليها السلام) — without a father — is not unscientific, but rather a manifestation of Divine Power.

✅ Summary

Allah ﷻ does not require scientific laws or principles to create anything.
❖ Science itself has not yet explained the origin of life and the mechanism of creation.
❖ Even within evolutionary theory, the existence of a male without a Y chromosome is accepted,
so objections against the miraculous birth of Prophet ʿĪsā (عليه السلام) are baseless.
