Ruling on washing oil off during Wudu

If a person oils his beard with beard oil, what is the ruling regarding the Wudu? Does he need to completely wash off the oil when making Wudu or just wipe over it or just make Wudu as normal or what is the procedure?

If the oil only coats the hair and does not create a barrier that prevents water from reaching the skin, wudu is valid without removing it.
