If there is any doubt concerning the permissibility of one’s salary, then it is necessary to avoid it and to perform one’s duties diligently so that the salary remains free from any suspicion of impermissibility.
It is the responsibility of the employee to carry out their assigned tasks with full commitment and sincerity so that their earnings are ḥalāl. If an employee shows negligence or fails to fulfill their duties properly, a portion of their salary becomes haram, and this should be strictly avoided. One must always maintain fear of Allah in their heart.
