Is the hide of animals slaughtered by Jhatka (non-Islamic method of slaughter) pure or not? And is it permissible to trade in such hides?
An animal slaughtered by Jhatka holds the same ruling as a carrion (murdār) in Islamic law. However, the hide of a carrion becomes pure after tanning (dabāghah).
Before Tanning (قبل از دباغت):
✘ The hide of a Jhatka-slaughtered animal is impure.
✘ Trade in this hide is not permissible.
After Tanning (بعد از دباغت):
✔ The hide becomes pure.
✔ Trade is permissible, and benefiting from it is allowed.

"This is correct and agreed upon:"
The hide of a Jhatka-slaughtered animal is impure before tanning and pure after tanning. Trade is permissible post-tanning.
