Question:
What is the ruling regarding horse meat?


Answer:
The horse is ḥalāl, and eating its meat is permissible.


❀ ʿAllāmah ʿAynī Ḥanafī رحمه الله (855H) states:
لحمه طاهر بالاتفاق
“Horse meat is unanimously pure.”
(Minḥat al-Sulūk, p. 386)
