Ruling on Swearing by the Name of Allah ﷻ

Question:
What is the ruling on swearing by the name of Allah ﷻ?
Answer:
It is permissible to swear by all the Names and Attributes of Allah ﷻ that are established, because the Names and Attributes of Allah ﷻ are not separate from Him.
❀ Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله, 728 AH) states:
إن الفقهاء أجمعوا على أن الحالف باسم الله كالحالف بالله.
"The jurists are unanimous that the one who swears by the Name of Allah is like the one who swears by Allah Himself."
