✿ Using Endowed Wealth Meant for Mosque Construction to Aid the Poor
When an endowment (waqf) has been designated for a specific and determined purpose, such as a mosque, it is not permissible to spend it elsewhere. However, if the mosque for which the endowment was intended no longer has any utility—such as when no prayers are conducted there due to the absence of a surrounding population—then it can be transferred to another mosque through the relevant governmental department.
