Ruling on Receiving Compensation for Blood Donation

➤ The Shari'ah Ruling on Receiving Payment for Blood Donation

In Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, it is narrated from Abū Juḥayfah (رضي الله عنه) that the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) prohibited receiving payment for blood.
Based on this Hadith, it is not permissible for any Muslim to take any compensation in return for donating blood.
If someone has already received such compensation, they should give it in charity to the poor.
