❖ Question​

What is the ruling on a person who prays outside the mosque, in pathways adjacent to it?

❖ Answer​

Alhamdulillah, wassalatu wassalamu ‘ala Rasulillah, amma ba’d!

• If the mosque is full and there is no space for all worshippers inside, and due to necessity some people pray in pathways adjacent to the mosque, there is no harm in doing so.
• This allowance is given out of need, and a key condition is that those praying there must be able to follow the Imam and maintain proper connection in the congregational prayer.
