Prohibition of Fragrance in the State of Ihram: Ruling for Men and Women

Is the prohibition of applying fragrance in the state of ihram specific to women, or does it apply to both men and women?
❀ Answer:
In all Sharʿi rulings, men and women are equal, unless the Shariʿah specifies otherwise.
Thus, the prohibition of using fragrance in the state of ihram applies to both men and women.
❀ Hafiz Ibn Hajar (رح) said:
أجمعوا على أن الرجال والنساء سواء فى تحريم استعمال الطيب إذا كانوا محرمين
"The scholars are unanimous that men and women are equal in the prohibition of using fragrance when they are in ihram."
