Ruling on Performing Wuḍūʾ with Zamzam Water

What is the ruling on performing wuḍūʾ (ablution) with Zamzam water?
❖ Answer
Performing wuḍūʾ with Zamzam water is permissible. The Sharīʿah has not prohibited it, and the majority of scholars hold it to be allowed.
◈ Imām al-Nawawī (d. 676H) said:
((لا تكره الطهارة بماء زمزم عندنا، وبه قال العلماء كافة))
“According to us, performing purification with Zamzam water is not disliked, and this is the view of all scholars.”
