Shaykh Nu'man Khaliq حفظه الله & Shaykh Hafiz Qamar Hasan حفظه الله:

Alhamdulillah
, the quantity of regular earth/soil is still sufficiently available, and in our opinion, Multani clay or gypsum tends to be consumed more than ordinary soil.

Tayammum is to be performed upon a pure surface of the earth, regardless of its type.
If gypsum or Multani clay is present in a location, then Tayammum may be done upon it, and there is no need to carry a separate tablet of soil for this purpose.
