Ruling on Performing Salah in the Case of Post-Urination Drops

Source: Fatawa Ulama-e-Hadith, Volume 09

Question:
If a person is not constantly afflicted, but after urinating, drops of urine continue to drip for a short while and then stop — should such a person delay the prayer while waiting for this issue to subside, or should he perform the congregational prayer at the beginning of its time even if drops come after making wudu? Is it only the one constantly afflicted who may pray in a state of urinary incontinence?

Answer:
The person should urinate well before the prayer time begins so that by the time the prayer enters, the drops have ceased.
