What is the Shar‘i ruling on a man using cream or powder?
الحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام علىٰ رسول الله، أما بعد:
A man should avoid using scented or colored creams and powders,
i.e., those that contain a prominent fragrance and a visible tint or color.
Such products may fall under imitation of women or unnecessary beautification, which is discouraged for men in Shari‘ah.
هٰذَا مَا عِندِي وَاللّٰهُ أَعْلَمُ بِالصَّوَابِ
This is what I know; and Allah knows best what is correct.
