① If the animal is of a type whose meat is not permissible to eat, then it is considered impure, and keeping it is not allowed.
② If the animal is generally halal to eat but was not slaughtered according to Islamic guidelines, it is still impure and impermissible to keep.
③ If the animal is halal and was slaughtered in accordance with Shari‘ah, and then preserved through taxidermy,
→ there is no harm in keeping it.
⚠ However, if a large sum of money is spent on this process, it may fall under the category of wasting wealth, which is also discouraged.

✔ Ruling:
Keeping a taxidermied animal is not considered equivalent to possessing a prohibited image, as it is a creation of Allah. However, there are important conditions to note:① If the animal is of a type whose meat is not permissible to eat, then it is considered impure, and keeping it is not allowed.
② If the animal is generally halal to eat but was not slaughtered according to Islamic guidelines, it is still impure and impermissible to keep.
