❖ If a Husband Wishes Intimacy During the Period of ʾĪlāʾ

❀ Ruling
If a husband wishes to be intimate with his wife during the period of ʾĪlāʾ, then he should offer expiation (kaffārah) for his oath and establish relations with his wife.
As mentioned in the ḥadīth:
من حلف على يمين فرأى غيرها خيرا منها فليأت الذى هو خير وليكفر عن يمينه
"Whoever swears an oath, then sees that something else is better than it, let him do that which is better and expiate for his oath."
