Ruling on Forgetting Duʿāʾ al-Qunūt in Witr

Question
If one forgets to recite the duʿāʾ (i.e., Qunūt) in the Witr prayer, will the prayer still be valid? In such a case, is sajdah al-sahw (prostration of forgetfulness) required?
✔ Answer
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, wa-ṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ammā baʿd:
If one forgets to recite the duʿāʾ (Qunūt) in Witr, there is no harm. The prayer remains valid, and sajdah al-sahw is not required.
