Ruling on Burning Frankincense (Lubān) in the Home or Mosque

❖ Question​

Is it permissible to burn frankincense (lubān) for fragrance in the house or mosque?

❖ Answer​

There is no reason to consider it impermissible. Frankincense is a type of fragrance, and its use in any setting is permissible.
