A ḥadīth narrated from Abū Ayyūb al-Anṣārī رضي الله عنه is reported in Musnad Aḥmad and Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Whoever recites ﴿قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ أَحَدٌ﴾ at night has recited one-third of the Qur’an.”
Thus, reciting it three times earns the reward of reciting the entire Qur’an.
It is also narrated from Abū al-Dardā’ رضي الله عنه that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Is any one of you unable to recite one-third of the Qur’an every night? Indeed, Allah has divided the Qur’an into three parts, and ﴿قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ أَحَدٌ﴾ has been made one part of the Qur’an.”
In conclusion, this narration is completely authentic, and according to the Prophetic statement, reciting Sūrah al-Ikhlāṣ three times earns the reward of reciting the entire Qur’an.
