Reality of Maqām Ibrāhīm and the Footprints of Prophet Ibrāhīm (AS)

Is Maqām Ibrāhīm the actual place containing the footprints of Prophet Ibrāhīm (AS) or not?
Alḥamdulillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, Ammā Baʿd!
✿ The status of Maqām Ibrāhīm is established, and the location where the glass enclosure is placed today is indeed called Maqām Ibrāhīm.
✿ However, in the present time, the footprints of Prophet Ibrāhīm (AS) are no longer visible on it.
✿ Historically, it is well known that the footprints of Prophet Ibrāhīm (AS) disappeared a long time ago.
✿ The current site remains only as a marker and a symbolic location.
✿ Therefore, it cannot be stated with certainty that this is the exact original spot of Prophet Ibrāhīm’s (AS) feet.
✿ Some pilgrims during ʿUmrah or Hajj stand at Maqām Ibrāhīm and recite certain supplications that are not proven from the Prophet ﷺ.
✿ At times, these supplications are read aloud, disturbing those offering the two rakʿahs of prayer after Tawaf behind Maqām Ibrāhīm.
✿ There is no specific duʿāʾ prescribed for Maqām Ibrāhīm.
✿ The Sunnah is simply to perform two light rakʿahs at this place after Tawaf.
✿ After completing the prayer with salām, one should move away quickly to allow other pilgrims space to pray.
