❖ A Great Virtue of Raising Daughters in Islam

In the light of multiple authentic narrations, Islam attaches great value to raising daughters with care, mercy, and good character. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ promised Paradise to those who bear this responsibility sincerely and justly.

➊ Narration of ʿĀʾishah رضي الله عنها:

ʿĀʾishah رضي الله عنها reported:

"A woman came to me with two daughters, asking for food. I had nothing with me except one date, so I gave it to her. She split it between her daughters and did not eat any of it herself. Later, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came, and I informed him of what had happened.

He ﷺ said:
‘Whoever is tested with daughters and treats them well, they will be a shield for him from the Fire.’”

➋ Narration of Anas ibn Mālik رضي الله عنه:

Anas ibn Mālik رضي الله عنه reported:

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Whoever raises two daughters until they reach maturity, he and I will come (on the Day of Judgment) like this."
He then joined his two fingers together.

➌ Narration of Abū Saʿīd al-Khuḍrī رضي الله عنه:

Abū Saʿīd al-Khuḍrī رضي الله عنه reported:

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Whoever has three daughters, or two daughters, or two sisters, and fears Allah regarding them and treats them kindly — he will enter Paradise.”

📚 [Ḥasan: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Adab al-Mufrad: pp. 58–59; Bukhārī in al-Adab al-Mufrad: 79; Abū Dāwūd: 5147, 5148 – Kitāb al-Adab; Aḥmad: 3/42; al-Bayhaqī in Shuʿab al-Īmān: 8676]
